Bionic Reading emphasises the start of each word to make reading feel easier to follow. In CaptRead it works together with reading aloud, in any PDF viewer.
How It Works
Open a PDF in the viewer you already use and mark the text you want to read.
Press F8. CaptRead reads it out loud and highlights each word as it is spoken.
Bionic Reading can be turned on for the highlighted words in the settings.

No. CaptRead reads text you mark on screen, so the PDF stays as it is.
The reading features are free to use, and no account is needed to use the app.
Scanned pages are images, so the text cannot be marked. CaptRead has an OCR feature for text like that.
